Tanja Wypper
Tanja immigrated from Germany to Nova Scotia in 1999 and has still a strong connection to Europe, representing clients from German speaking countries such as Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to always put her client’s needs first as well as her understanding of culture differences and the ability to support German speaking clients with her language skills, are only a few reasons that helped her to built a solid foundation of clients.
Being a single mother with 2 children, she went back to school in 2010 , studying “ Natural Resources and Environmental Technologies”, a mainly forestry based area of studies on the Nova Scotia community Collage. She graduated with honours and followed up with a Bachelor Degree in Environmental Engineering Technologies at CBU. Being a hands-on person and passionate about nature and construction, she worked as a lumberjack in collaboration with construction companies regarding residential driveway, septic and house construction. Took the opportunity to work in several different occupations for the Department of Natural Resources as well as in Quality control related to local fishery. For the past 8 years, she works in Real Estate and costumer consulting, sharing her experience and knowledge to support her clients in finding their home.
Active in the community, and loving to work with youth, Tanja started to work with the Royal Canadian Sea Cadets in 2009, first on a voluntary basis, afterwards completing her training and continuing to work with the rank of a SLT.
In her free time, Tanja enjoys outdoor activities such as boating, fishing, and cross country rides with her ATV . She still loves her chain saws and her traditional summer camping trip on Cape Breton usually accompanied and supported by her son as well as her 2 Doodles Rudi and Onyx. She never takes anything for granted and is deeply grateful to be able to live in this beautiful Province.
