For Bobbi Meunier, joining Cape Breton Realty is more than a new chapter in her career—it’s a homecoming.

Born and raised in Cape Breton, Bobbi left the island 35 years ago and built a life and successful real estate career in Ontario. After more than three decades away, she has returned home to Cape Breton, bringing with her over 20 years of experience as a licensed real estate professional and a genuine appreciation for the place that shaped her.

Bobbi’s experience spans many areas of the real estate industry. In addition to working with buyers and sellers in the residential market, she spent 11 years working closely with builders and developers, gaining extensive experience in new construction and the unique considerations involved in bringing new homes and communities to market. That background has given her a valuable understanding of homes from both the resale and new-construction sides of the business.

Throughout her career, Bobbi has guided clients through changing markets, major life transitions, and everything from purchasing a first home to making difficult decisions about a property that has been in a family for generations. She believes good real estate service goes far beyond putting up a sign or finding a listing—it means listening, being available, giving straightforward advice, negotiating fiercely for her clients, and treating every transaction as though it matters personally.

Returning to Cape Breton has given Bobbi a renewed appreciation for everything she once took for granted—the ocean, the communities, the slower pace, and the way people here look out for one another. She understands why people want to call Cape Breton home because, after 35 years away, she chose to come home too.

When she isn’t working with clients, Bobbi loves embracing the life that brought her back home to Cape Breton. Her constant companion is Diesel, her Rottweiler, who is rarely far from her side. She has a lifelong love of music and especially enjoys singing and performing, as well as writing songs and stories inspired by life, love, and the people and places around her.

For Bobbi, creativity and connection have always been important—whether she’s helping someone find the right home, singing a favourite song, putting a story into words, or simply spending time with Diesel near the ocean.

After 35 years away, returning to Cape Breton has felt like coming full circle. She’s grateful to once again be surrounded by the landscape, culture, and sense of community she grew up with—and proud to now combine the place she loves with a real estate career spanning more than 20 years.
